Our Team

A rack of period products such as pads, tampons, and period underwear to help combat period inequity in Cleveland. This period bank helps women have the hygiene products they need

Through local partners' generosity and donations, PADS has been able to provide period products to over 1,300 people in Greater Cleveland and beyond.

Advocating about period equity and addressing the shame and stigma around menstruation helps us build a stronger community of care for all people.

Our Impact

“I had not had a cycle for over a year, when it came, I was not prepared. I currently use my daughter’s old diapers as pads. I love the support from this program. I would have never thought I would have to worry about not having pads.”

22-year-old, PADS on Wheel Participant

In 2012, Delesia Robinson, RN and her daughters were touched by a story a once-unhoused woman shared during a presentation at a local college. The woman shared that she was experiencing a transient living situation due to lack of income, and during that period she was unable to have basic personal hygiene products.

Compelled by her story, these long-time East Cleveland natives jumped to action and formed Pride Among Daughters and Sisters (PADS) in hopes of providing comfort and support to others experiencing these indignities.
